The examination is in 2 parts - Part A “Data Acquisition for high-strain dynamic pile tests” (45 questions in 90 minutes) and Part B “Data Interpretation for high-strain dynamic pile tests” (45 questions in 120 minutes).

The examination can be undertaken remotely at a convenient time and location under independent supervision by arrangement with Pile QA. A certificate of proficiency will be issued reflecting the score achieved.

Although the validity periods suggested can be used as a standard guideline, the agencies and organizations specifying a Certificate of Proficiency as a qualification is recommended to set their own conditions for maximum validity period of certificate and also the minimum level of proficiency. It is totally up to the test takers to be fully aware of the requirements of the agencies or organizations that require dynamic testing services in their region. It must be noted that although individual named on a Proficiency Certificate has demonstrated knowledge to the rank granted. The ability of the individuals to apply appropriate knowledge and advice on a specific project is not implied or warranted by Pile QA and Foundation QA. Pile QA or Foundation QA assume no liability for foundation testing and analysis work performed by the bearer of this certificate.
